Naz Arts Winter Session

Group Piano - Naz Arts thinks the first steps to learning to play the piano should be a positive and fun experience! This weekly class provides an excellent way for beginners to learn basic, fundamental keyboard skills. Emphasis is on note reading, ear training, rhythmic skills, technique and ensemble playing. Classes are grouped by age. Assignments are given weekly and are to be practiced at home. A piano or keyboard with a minimum of 61 full-sized keys is required for practice at home. Each class is 30 - 45 minutes in duration. Curriculum will need to be purchased separately once class has begun.

Group Violin - Designed for beginner students, this course provides a relaxed introduction to violin basics. Note reading, ear training, rhythmic skills, and methods of manipulating the violin and bow will be developed in a creative group setting. Each class is 30 - 45 minutes in duration. Curriculum will need to be purchased separately once class has begun.

Group Guitar - This is an introductory course for beginners. Participants will learn how to read simple tunes and play first chords with the objective of accompanying songs on the guitar. Each class is 30 - 45 minutes in duration. Curriculum will need to be purchased separately once class has begun.
Winter 2012 - Group Guitar will not be offered during the Winter Session.

Private Instruction - Private lessons are offered in piano, voice, guitar, strings, brass, woodwinds, drums and percussion at all levels. Instructors will customize lessons to the student's needs and interests while designing a program that achieves their musical goal. Lessons can be scheduled Monday - Thursday afternoons and early evenings and Saturday mornings.
