A Message from Bob Brown, Director of Adult Education...

Dear Friends and Family of First Nazarene:

Adult Bible Fellowships are the core of First Nazarene’s adult education and fellowship ministry. These are small-to-medium size groups gathering weekly to study the Bible, to pray for one another, and to strengthen relationships. Some are identified by age and life situation, while others emphasize specific themes across generational lines. Led by gifted and called Christ-followers, these ABF groups encourage their participants to become more aware of God’s Word as it applies to our lives. Through them we are able to better connect with each other, the truth of Scripture and the world where we are to serve.

Our mission statement comes from Paul’s letter to the Ephesians:
…speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the
head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every
joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the
body grow so that it builds itself up in love (Ephesians 4:15-16).

As Director of Adult Education, it is my privilege to attract and nurture those who lead our Adult Bible Fellowships. I encourage you to visit different groups and then make a heart-felt commitment to become a regular part of the ABF family. I’d love to hear from you if you have any questions or want guidance plugging into one of these groups.

Regards,
Bob Brown
